Training "International Projects"
The "International Projects" training course provides participants with the tools to properly prepare for projects in an international environment and lay the foundation for successful project implementation. Even more so than in domestic projects, early and comprehensive preparation is essential for international projects in order to successfully complete them. This can certainly mean identifying criteria in the early stages of a project that make a bid or contract appear too risky, leading to a decision to avoid it.
However, when a project is proposed and implemented, participants are aware of important risks and opportunities from the outset. A focus is placed on plant projects, which are arguably the most complex type of international project.
The training consists of a mix of theoretical foundations and small practical applications based on participants' current projects or neutral case studies. Intensive participant involvement and their own activities ensure the sustainability of what they learn.
Topics include:
- Cultural differences
- Communication channels
- Stakeholder management
- Deliveries and services
- Rules and regulations
- Compliance issues
- Claim and change management
- Insurance
- Taxes and duties
- Pricing
- Financing and payment terms
- Important contract points
- Technical guarantees
- Personnel and secondments

Participants will also learn about the purposes for which agile methods are suitable and where they are not appropriate. The possible combination of agile and traditional methods will be presented, and tips for implementation will be provided. Exercises will complement the seminar.
Agile methods are not a panacea for getting complex situations under control!
This seminar may dispel any illusions you may have had about being able to solve all your problems better with agile methods. But simply knowing what works and what doesn't will help you find the right path for you more quickly, and apply modern methods and organizational forms where necessary. Added value
This also provides a brief overview of the Critical chain project management
which can bring significant advantages in classic project management.
The trainings are offered in-house. The ideal group of participants is up to 12 people. The duration of the training is standard 2 daysWe will discuss details and priorities with you individually. Where necessary, we can involve appropriate experts.

The training alternates between theoretical foundations and concrete practical applications based on participants' current projects or neutral case studies. Intensive participant involvement and their own activities ensure the sustainability of what they learn.
Intercultural training for projects
In international projects or in projects in which a large number of employees from different cultural backgrounds work together, intercultural misunderstandings often arise, resulting in sometimes considerable risks.
We help you support your teams in navigating the minefield of intercultural differences more confidently and implementing projects more successfully.
Together with you, we analyze your exact training needs and develop a suitable concept. If desired, this can also include the topic of "virtual international collaboration," which is often even more challenging than face-to-face collaboration across cultural boundaries.
