offers an early warning system that can be set up individually. The Early Warning System for Projects FWSP is a system with which warning signs can be recognized earlythat indicate critical projects or problematic project progress.
After jointly defining the risk factors with you, we will request information that has proven to be risk-relevant in (your) projects. Where possible, the FWSP draws on data already available electronically in your existing project management systems (PM software), project documents, project reports, and other sources (usually, an Excel application with the appropriate data access is sufficient). This creates a number of combined parameters. Accumulations of defined risk factors then allow potentially critical situations to be identified early on.
If no or insufficient data is available, additional tools can help provide relevant information. These could include, for example, checklists that are to be completed electronically at certain milestones.
Parameters can be compiled according to various categories (e.g., customer, contract, technology, resources, suppliers, stakeholders, finance, etc.). Two to ten different queries are run for each of these categories, displaying individual parameters and an overall value. The result is a comprehensive overview that presents risk factors early, clearly, and comprehensibly.
Here come "Big Data" and "Big Wisdom" The evaluation is carried out regularly, so that developments become visible. The system can be continuously improved with little effort, and measures can be taken earlier than before. Success rate can over time 70% - 90% be.
