Knowledge management in the company
Bench learning

ISO 9001:2015 applies! •ISO 9001 is the international (quality) management standard. •For many companies, corresponding certification is a prerequisite for consideration when awarding contracts. •The latest edition of the standard was published in September 2015. •Certificates according to the previously valid ISO 9001:2008 will expire on September 30, 2018. For many organizations, this creates the need to address the content and consequences of the new requirements contained in the standard. But does everyone have to do this on their own? Why not tackle this task together with others? Why not seek exchange and thus arrive at solutions more quickly and efficiently? With the dynamic development triggered by digital transformation, organizations find themselves in a competitive environment where learning quickly is particularly important. By participating in the Benchlearning project, you will gain valuable insights for a value-added approach to knowledge, an increasingly important resource.

Why Benchlearning?

In contrast to benchmarking, which involves measuring oneself against others, bench learning is about learning together and from each other. This can happen both through good practices and based on different experiences.

In an open exchange between different organizations and/or companies, questions regarding the implementation of the standard regarding the handling of the organization's knowledge are discussed, possible obstacles and opportunities are discussed, and solutions and implementation recommendations are developed.

This open collaboration often leads to valuable partnerships that outlast the bench learning. Such networks enable an open exchange about similar challenges and issues with like-minded people, even after the bench learning has ended, outside of a formalized project.

Benchlearning involves analyzing processes and/or strategies and deriving good practices. This clarifies success factors and demonstrates possible approaches. As a result, each company can derive and implement its own individual measures.

Target group

The event is open to all companies and organizations interested in addressing knowledge management, regardless of ISO 9001:2015 certification. We strive to group the 4-6 participating companies/organizations together in a way that maximizes the benefits for everyone. A mix of participants from different industries, as well as small, medium, and large companies, can be particularly beneficial for successful exchange.
